Planned Giving
The Malpai organization has been a part of our lives for over twenty-five years as collaborators that are continuing the mission that began as people worked together for the benefit of the land as well as keeping traditional ranching on large landscapes.
Your support has been an important part of the organization and we are truly grateful for the people who share out vision of protecting the Borderlands and keeping open landscapes. Working together and listening was part of overcoming challenger in the formation of the organization. There will be challenges in the future and those challenges will take the same collaborative efforts if we are to be successful in our mission.
Many ranching families in the Borderlands have looked beyond one generation when planning for the future of their ranch. Protecting the land and their traditional livelihoods took important preparation and dedication through several generations.
We would like you to join us in continuing the Malpai Borderlands organization in the future. Planned giving is a way of helping the work in the borderlands to continue. Asking your financial advisor to discuss legacy gifts could be the first step in leaving a planned gift that benefits you and your family as well as a nonprofit organization.
A bequest is a form of planned giving which is a provision in your will or living trust that would direct a portion of your estate to the Malpai Borderlands Group. One benefit is that it reduces your taxable estate and may provide estate tax savings.
I ask that you join our group in the future through a legacy of gift.
